about

In eigenseiten, bookbinding is used as a tool for participants to build their own platform for sharing personal and collective stories, while also expanding access to experimental art methods.  Printing techniques are used within this context to foster literary and visual forms of self-expression.

By making their own books, participants are presented to self-publishing as an alternative to institutionalised publishing industries, pointing toward the creation of decentralised, independent platforms.

open
workshops

Conceived as a collaborative and critical learning environment, each session is free, open, and non-committal.  Participants from 6 to 27 years old can join according to their interests and capacities, contributing to a flexible programme that prioritises process over performance. Through experimental exercises led by the art mediators, participants share their skills, develop new methods, and engage in reciprocal, intergenerational and decolonial dialogue in learning and rethinking art education.
